The Rules

Read our community rules to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable munch

The Youth Munch in Leuven is a gathering for young adults, between the ages of 18 and 30, who are interested in BDSM. We meet at a public location where everyone feels comfortable. Respect for each other is the key and kink activities are not allowed.

Event

  • Orders can be made according to the rules of Bar Rustic. Pay immediately for your drinks, preferably electronic.
  • We may ask for your identity card. This is to verify that you are indeed between 18 and 30 years old. The only thing we check is your birthdate. Other information on your ID is not checked and may be covered.

Registration

  • This gathering is exclusive for youth between 18 and 30 years old. Those older than 30 are invited to the Leuven Munch.
  • Registering is simple: set yourself as going. This way, we have an idea of how many people we can expect.
  • If you can't participate but have already marked yourself as going, change your status to not going. It's no problem if you decide not to come at the last minute.

Discretion

  • Both newcomers and more experienced participants are welcome. Respect everyone&'s privacy.
  • Do not ask for personal details such as residence or occupation. Respect someone&'s choice not to share certain information. If someone still asks you such a question, you are not obligated to answer. If the person insists, report this to the organizers.
  • Use only the names people provide at the munch. Some people use an alias to protect their privacy.
  • Leave BDSM or fetish items and clothing at home. We are in a public space and do not want to unnecessarily shock anyone. Wear casual clothing, like you would when going to a café with friends.

Respectful Behaviour

  • Be kind and respectful to everyone. Be aware of your own behavior and its impact on others. If you find that you&'ve unintentionally hurt someone, offer your apologies.
  • Greeting someone with a hug or a kiss is allowed. Always ask for permission before touching someone and respect these boundaries. This is very personal and varies from person to person. What may be a completely innocent touch for one person can be inappropriate or unwanted for another.
  • Pushy, intimidating or disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. We appreciate and respect diversity in all forms. Treat others as you would want to be treated. If you find that someone is not following these rules, report it to the organizers.
  • Be aware of your own alcohol consumption. We want everyone to feel safe. If you notice someone has had too much to drink, report it to the organizers.
  • Treat everyone equally. Origin, skin color, gender, sexual preference, religion, age, body type, disability, etc., are not reasons to treat someone differently. Being a Dom or sub is also not a reason to treat someone differently.

Organizational Responsibility

  • The organizers of the Youth Munch in Leuven oversee a safe and pleasant atmosphere. Report unwanted behavior immediately. Although we do our best, it&'s impossible to prevent every incident. Your safety and well-being are always our priority.
  • Decisions by the organizers are made after careful consideration. We will always try to speak with all parties involved. This way, we get a complete picture of the situation and can make an correct decision.
  • The organizers are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings. We recommend leaving valuable items at home.
  • The organizers are not responsible for the behavior of the participants. We do our best to create a safe and pleasant atmosphere. If you notice that someone is not following these rules, report it to the organizers. Appropriate measures will be taken.

Your Responsibility

  • By participating, you agree to these rules. If you do not follow these rules, you may be denied access to the munch.

These rules are inspired by the Leuven Munch. We thank them for their inspiration and permission to use these rules.
